Earth is the third planet from the Sun and the only object in the Universe known to harbor life. According to radiometric dating and other sources of evidence, Earth formed over 4 billion years ago. Earth's gravity interacts with other objects in space, especially the Sun and the Moon, Earth's only natural satellite. Earth revolves around the Sun in 365.26 days, a period known as an Earth year. During this time, Earth rotates about its axis about 366.26 times.
Earth is the planet, where the entirety of the Looped series takes place. Port Doover, the fictional town and main setting of the show is on the planet Earth. According to a theory, made by Theo, the time loop only affects things on the planet Earth, which means that if the show's main characters, Luc and himself were to ever leave the planet during the repeat, they would have escaped the time loop, a concept explored in the episode "Rocket to Tomorrow", although the accuracy of this statement is something to be argued with, given Alianna's repetition, despite being in outer space.
- Despite what Theo said about the loop only affecting things on earth, the alien characters Alianna and her father are destined to repeat in the loop, in spite of being in outer space for the majority of the day. This would mean that Theo's theory is wrong and the loop affects everything in the universe.
